I would have a great distrust of a semi-auto firearm that cost only $200.
Personally, I would want a firearm I could trust my life with for CCW. That means not only considering the cost of the firearm, but the ammo needed to prove (to me) that it is a reliable weapon, and the means to carry it.
I've read the reports where some firearms can shoot thousands of rounds without failure, but that was not done with the firearm I purchased for CCW. And like cars, no two firearms are the same. Similar, but different.
