Is it possible? Sure. Is it likely? Not in today's political climate.

With it being a sellers market I would be very careful buying something in that price range. If you're not sure about judging a firearms condition you should take someone you trust with you.

Perhaps from a private seller.

I would have a great distrust of a semi-auto firearm that cost only $200.

Personally, I would want a firearm I could trust my life with for CCW. That means not only considering the cost of the firearm, but the ammo needed to prove (to me) that it is a reliable weapon, and the means to carry it.

I've read the reports where some firearms can shoot thousands of rounds without failure, but that was not done with the firearm I purchased for CCW. And like cars, no two firearms are the same. Similar, but different.

a used Glock for $200? not likely. and if so, i'd be highly suspicious of it being stolen.

best suggestion if you have a a desire to buy a Glock, is to take the $200 and put it on layaway at a gun store or pawn shop.

I don't think so... I sold my Glock 17 in Jan for $500 and he was happy to get it.

These days I would think you would be lucky to find a High Point for $200. Everything is through the roof around here. If I did find a Glock for $200 I would probably not buy it. I would figure it is stolen or damaged.
