Anyone know of a site to find a steel safety for the beretta m9 and if I switch out the trigger and recoil spring assembly with steel will that hurt the gun?

Brownells is the best site for just about any gun part, short of going to the manufacturer. Can't specifically answer you're question on the recoil spring assembly, but I can't imagine how it could hurt the gun.
Thanks man. Just bought the recoil assembly off beretta website. Still need the trigger though. Hard to find. And that damn 22 conversion kit. Like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
