Just trying to compare this to other Mossberg and Remington tactical models. Wanting to get a home defense shotgun that is reliable and that wont break the bank. Have a Stoeger P350 duck/turkey gun and have had problems with it so I don't want to get something cheaper and have problems again.

Mossberg makes good reliable shotguns. Now as to some of the options they put on their shotguns. Some of these things just kind of make you wonder.But their general pump is a good shotgun.
Not flex in my house. I have a regular mossy 500 with several barrels Short house barrel, rifled and screw-in chock barrel for what evers its needed for.
