Are you referring to the 22 or 5.7? If you mean the 5.7 FNH manufactures. 3 or 4 different types of ammo different color tips to signify. Blue is their civilian load.

its the velocity of the 5.7 round that makes it penetrate, not the bullet type

One of my friends keeps telling me to get one. I do agree they're pretty cool, but for the money there are so many better choices. Atleast for me.

the 5.7 pistol and the 5.7 bullpup rifle were designed, built and demonstrated to the army in the mid 90s in an attempt to sell them on it to no avail. dont know why it took so long to offer it to the general public.

Different types of body armor. I agree not all armor is up to snuff. Thought I'd share this

The body armor used by law enforcement can be penetrated by most hunting rifles with FMJ ammo. During the North Hollywood Bank Robbery the body armor of several officers was penetrated by a 7.62x39.

To stop centerfire rifles body armor needs the plates like military body armor.

Body armor is limited. You know anybody who wears it all day,

all the time? The lighter stuff will dependably stop most

pistol rounds, and you still have blunt trauma.

It's sort of like trading off being shot for being hit

with a baseball bat.

In a nutshell, body armor isn't some magic solution. There's

always a trade-off.
