You didn't say what you want to do with it. Shooting for sports or competing - regular night sights will be smaller and slower than the standard 3 dots of fiber optics. Oversized night sights will cost you $$$ and still bring little advantage. For self defense carry they make sense, depending on your personal risk assessment. It is OK not to copy everything LE. But if it's your service pistol, 24/7, night sights are a safety feature.

Trijicon makes some night sights with bright orange outline that are good at night and in daylight. Competition or defense.

Argyle, do you know of anything available for my Keltec pf9? I need to replace the rear sights. I'd prefer night sights but I haven't even been able to find the stock sights for it

The rear sights have to be ordered through Kel-Tec and nobody makes night sights for the the Kel-Tec PF9. However, you can go here and order a substitute: http://www.nitesiters.com/Nitesiters_Handgun_Night_Sights.html
