A nice, cheap, good practice .22?
Do y'all have any ideas on a .22 that is relatively cheap and good for practicing marksmanship? That'd be its sole purpose, really.

What price range are you talking about regarding cheap?

Hmmm.. Anywhere below $350

the ruger markIII or Rugers SR22 pistol, both are fun and accurate. And can be found for around that price range

i have to agree with the Ruger Mark III. different prices based on which version you get. i have the Mark III 22/45 Target model that i bought last year for about $280 NIB. excellent shooting pistol and way more accurate than me. has adjustable sights and comes with a scope base if you want to mount a scope. well over 2500 rounds with zero issues to date. and they are loads of fun to shoot!

ATI imports GSG's 1911 22lr and it is fun to shoot.

I second that.

I paid $300 for my Mark III 22/45 and it works good. I'd recommend it.

The GSG 1911 platform 22lr is awesome, but I'll always throw in the Jimenez JA22 when discussing a 22 pistol. It's a great cheap plinker with a fixed barrel for more than enough accuracy for practice.

Add another vote for both the Ruger MK-III, and the GSG-1911-22. Both are great guns!

Best of Luck!
