Next handgun ideas

So im thinking about another handgun and cant decide on what type i should get. I was thinking of a larger handgun similar to a Beretta PX4 storm compact in size. Caliber im open to ideas. The gun would be for home defense versus concealed carry. That being said the gun has to be a size comfortable for a female to use as well. So im just looking for ideas. Any input is appreciated. Thanks for your advice in advance

I am female, and although that sig is nice, it also feels like a 2x4 to me. I like a compact CZ-75 or similar.

If she is unfamiliar to guns an auto may be difficult for her to draw the slide back. If she doesn't want to get into it as a hobby, and not just for self defense, that auto may be useless. I like revolvers for a defensive situation for first time owners. Safer, and easy to use when stressed out from a bump in the night.

thanks for all the advice ill be doing some research with her and i have a friend who owns a few Smith and Wesson .38SPCL revolvers. Maybe i can try and get him to let her fire it and see how she likes it.

38's are great to shoot. Make sure she has some ear plugs in or the sound might scare her away. I grew up on a colt 38/357.
