FWIW, when I do buy a new pistol, I tend to prefer the .40. For no particular reason.

When you decide to go armed?

How do you make that decision? What factors come in to play to decide to go armed?

Mine are easy.

I have clothes on...
The only time I am not wearing a gun is in the shower or bed. Then of course there is something in a quick access safe within moments of time.

I don't carry EVERY day. Sorry. If you do, that's great.

The factors that come into play in my decision are:

A. I feel like it

B. I feel like it

C. I feel like it

I look at it like insurance. Odds are, I won't need it nor ever use it. But God help me if I need it and don't have it.

Nothing wrong with that. I'm not advocating or criticizing either way. If you were to run into me, chances are I have one stuffed somewhere. Just not 100% of the time. That's all.
