Not a fan of NYC, Chicago or most of California as I don't like rats, Community organizers, or the ground shaking or their screwed up gun laws.

I have been to worse places and am glad to be living in the south, out in the country, where I can shoot my guns at will, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Here buying a pistol is a 20 minute deal, deciding on which gun not so much. We have smoking HOT women, all 4 seasons, the beach or the mountains are just a few hours drive away, and we can carry a gun Open carry or Concealed, find a parking spot reasonably close to where we want to be, watch the deer out in the yard, have a big fire and play music in the back yard without disturbing the neighbors.

Kind of funny, you never hear of anyone retiring and moving up North.

And I can do all of that where I live in NYS (except open carry...which I'm not a fan of anyways). We have overflowing deer and turkey in Niagara County...Come hunt black bear in Wyoming County.... 2 great sport fishing lakes (Ontario and Erie), Finger Lakes, Lake George, Lake Champlain, Adirondack mtns, Allegheny mtns, Catskill mtns, Niagara Falls, Fort Niagara, Erie Canal, Buffalo Bills/Sabres and alot more....

Please don't assume the North is all that bad....New York state is 85% country area (cow farms, apple orchards and grape vineyards)...and most of the state HATES NYC... if you haven't been here...I suggest visting. the people are just as friendly as the ones I've met in Missouri or Kentucky...

Looks nicer than any part of Kentucky that I've ever been to...

I don't see any watermellons in that picture, and is that a bear there behind that red tree?

To be honest, I stole the picture from Google.

But man! You're from Saranac?! I'm jealous. I live out by Niagara Falls but I plan on living out there when I graduate. My girlfriend's family is from the Oneida area, specifically Munnsville. Beautiful country out there.

and Saranac Brewery, nice.

I don't consider the Buffalo Sabres a bonus for New York. They are some of the trashiest most disgusting fans I have ever encountered. Let's just say in the 2006 playoff run for the Hurricanes there was a load of fist fights in the arena and throughout the parking lots. Not saying every fan is like that, but every time Buffalo visits down here there are problems with fans that doesn't occur with any other team.

Levelcross, I know exactly what you mean.
