New Ruger P95 for me!
Here it is...
Got it about 3 weeks ago. I have not had much accuracy luck at 25 yards, but 25 feet is good. The 25 yards is probably me as the only accuracy I seem to be able to achieve at 25 yards is with my wife's P22

25 yards is for target shooters and rifles. If you are using this as a defense weapon 10yards is the max in my opinion.
You can't shoot someone 75 feet away and claim self defense,lol.
Nice looking pistol, I still have love for that style ruger.

If this gun is to be used for PD please read my siggy below.
25 yards isn't self defense, it's hunting.
If you are to use this gun for competition shooting or hunting........never mind.

Actually I just find it fun to go to the range and shoot my firearms. The pistol range is 25 yards. The max on the rifle range is 100 yards. I'd like to be good at those distances for no particular reason other than it will make me feel good I don't CCW and my guns are in the safe

yup - that has certainly been the case so far (well, except with the P22 when not using CCI mini-mags).

My wife and I have matching fire-proof safes in the bedroom. She has a P22 in hers I have either my Ruger 9mm or my Taurus 40S&W in mine. I also have a set of nunchukus in my drawer. Honestly, where I live, home defense is really a non-issue. If you do get burglarized here, it is usually when you are not home, or if you confront the thief, he runs off - small town, you see...

That is a great gun. My first pistol was a Ruger P95. I still have it, and it is one of my favorites to shoot. Congrats!
