Default New purchase - SW9VE

I picked this up Saturday at Cabela's in KC. It was $289 after a $50 rebate. I thought that was a decent price. I have read in the forums that some people don't like the trigger. I have not taken it to the range yet. Any thoughts?

The Sigma is a good pistol.
The reliablilty if a Glock, but it points more natural and feels better in the hand IMO.
For the price, you can't beat em

It's pretty hard to get a better value in a personal defense weapon. Yeah the triggers can be a little rough but they get better with time. The weapons are accurate and reliable.

Good solid handgun. I know you will be more than satisfied.

And that trigger is what you think it is, not some interwebz Wii gamer!

There are several happy 9VE owners here and I'm sure Shihan will be around soon to celebrate with you!

Enjoy your new addition to your arsenal.

Here's a good price on ammo:

Is it just me, or does that thing lack a front sight? Probably just the picture.

It blends into the background, but it's there.

I think those pistols are well worth the price they are going for. Let us know how you like it.

Congrats! I love the S&W autos; I prefer the articulated trigger on my M&P to the double-style safety trigger on the XD and Glock. The custom shop job might have something to do with that, but I've shot the Sigma, and it's nothing to stick up your nose at. Now go shoot the hell out of it!

I have the 40 caliber. Great gun. You will enjoy it. Smith & Wesson makes great products. I believe they started this line to try to steal market share from Taurus and Ruger. I feel like they have done a good job for the money.

I own the EXACT same gun. It is a nice little fun gun to have around. I really and truly consider it a Glock knockoff. Yea, I know it is a S&W, but it breaks down exactly like the Glock and yes the spring will work in both. I had nothing better to do?

Woooo...Woooo...WWWWWooo Awesome Choice. A Pistol every bit as good as a Glock with better Ergos. All yours for less than 3 Large. How can you go wrong there. I would put mine up against any Glock. I have shot about 500 rds since the last cleaning and it goes bang everytime.

It has a heavy trigger but you will get used to it, Nothing more than most DA Revolvers.

Take that fine looking Pistol and shoot it and shoot it some more.

I don't like Sigmas...I LOVE them.

I have the SW357V, 357sig Baby. My Favorite Pistol.
