Default A new pistol....soon

Since it is so complicated here in germany to obtain a firearm, on ehas to plan this ahead of time.
But sometime one does get lucky und it alway pays out to keep the local gunsmith warm.

I stopped by my gunsmith yesterday on my way to the range (it was a really shi..y day at the range), to buy some ammo.
I asked him, if he by chance had something interesting on stock for me, since I am looking for a new pistol.

He went into his gun chamber, came back with a white card board box and opend it.
When the box was opened, a beautyfull Sig Sauer P226 was in there in a fantastic condition. Hardly shot, as he said.
My question: "What`s the price?"
Answer and question: "350,- Euro (That would be $ 500,-). Should I put your name in the box?"
My Answer after smiling at my wife: "Hell yes!"

It will be a while untill I can get it, since I have to wait for the permissions, but since I always buy my ammo at that gunsmith, he dosn`t really care how long it will take for me to buy it. It`s mine...........

I checked the prices here in germany on a online auction plattform. They are sold for approx. Euro 400,- (crappy condition) to approx. 1000 Euro.

o.k. guys, the Sig is in the final approach.
Tomorrow, after work, she will touch down in my range bag and brough home.

I will pick her up tomorrow. I had to sell my soal and make a really nasty deal with the devil (life long sex slave and nasty and boring stuff like that.. ), but she granted me the money to buy the Sig.

When I get home tomorrow, I will give her a check and clean down and make some pics of her.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, thursday she will be tested at the range.....

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

o.k. Guys, here she is.........

Only thing I will do, is change the grips, cause they are worn down a bit too much.

Gave he ra clean after I got home and had the feeling, that the previous owner never cleaned it correctly. Smudge and powder rests all over the place.
But for the first clean she is o.k. for now.
Day after tomorrow I will strip down again and give her a wipe down, so als othe last bit of crud is gone, before I give a first testrun at the range on thurseday.
