You may need to replace the hammer assembly

For many years the 7.62 X 25 ammo was impossible to find. These guns were often re chambered to the .30 Mauser. Most guns will fire either round. They can have misfires because of the head space. Try firing some .30 Mauser it may work OK.

You should be able to find the hammer assembly online and it should drop right in

Sounds like a weak hammer spring.

Also make sure that the firing pin channel has been fully cleaned of any grease or obstructions that would kep teh firing pin from being able to travel fully forward.

I soaked the pistol in varsol again, and also re lubricated. Will be a bit until I get to the range again but I will just have to go from there. Stopped by a local gunsmith and he had nothing in stock. Might check online.

Finally got to the range today and fired almost 200 rounds without any issue, guess I just had to clean it better. Glad it's working fine now. Thanks for all the help. Can't wait to get out and shoot it again!
