Default new handgun ideas.

I have about 1k to spend on a new handgun on myself for Christmas but I dont know what I want. If you had 1k to spend right now what would you buy for yourself?

There is always a chance old "Santa" won't make it to your house anyway. Just shop around and find a handgun you really like.

Gp100, S&W 629, Glock 17 and 21, Sr1911, Springer TRP, Sig mosquito, Lc9. Open to any suggestions, even a long gun. Dont know yet, gonna go shop around tomorrow after hunting.

If it were ME, I'd buy an 8 shot .357 Magnum S&W revolver. If I could FIND one for 1k or less...

But maybe that's just me...

Sig 226 or a good .357 mag are on my list if the right deal comes along.

If it has to be just one - Glock 17.

How about a Ruger Single action in 45 long colt, 44 mag, or 357.?

Or a Smith 617 22 revolver

I would get a 22/45 and another safe. The biggest danger to my guns is getting them out of an over crowded safe. $1,000 should get a nice hunting rifle, a used BAR is a great investment.
