Dan Wesson 1911, Cant wait to fire this baby, my next upgrade is some houge rap around grips, but for this one i will be looking at keeping that wood look

That's an excellent choice. Dan Wessons' are loaded with Ed Brown parts and are incredibly tight and well made. I think they're an underpriced sleeper.

I had a CBOB and it was my favorite 1911 until circumstances forced me to sell it. If I ever get flush again I will buy another in a New York minute.

That is a good gun. The Dan Wessons take some beating's in cyberspace and interwebz, but CA357 is right, it has a ton of good stuff under the hood.

I am looking forward to your shooting impressions and to see how well you do on your Range Report.

those are the ones i am hunting for and yeah i am hooked....my slide release on this one though is extremelytight i guess you would say...any pointers on how to losen it up
