Having just recently owned one...I would say save your money and either buy a used gun or something in the mid 200-300 range. I sold my hi-point after owing it less than 2 months because it jammed like crazy the first day at the range. If you're willing to constantly deal with the poor magazine issue that causes the jams then that's fine. But, now I know what others online were saying with comments like they wouldn't trust their life on them. That's the main reason I sold it. It just was too unpredictable and unreliable. It would make a good back-up gun, but not a main gun.
