I just won the bid on this little beauty
Like new Iver Johnson .38 S&W top break color case hardened frame Rust blued Barrel and cylinder
after all said and done I will have 125.00 in it once i get it in the corral

It certainly looks like it would do a better job than would a mouse gun.

Ya it looks to be in excelent condition for a revolver made to shoot black powder cartridges.
what I like about these little pistols is they fit very inconspicuously and comfortably in a front pants or jacket pocket.

doing some research this looks to be a second model according to the owls head on the grips

Buffalo Bore makes a 125 grain flat nose hard cast @ 1000 fps. Original bullet was 200 grains @ 630 fps.

I don't know that I would use the Buffalo Bores in an old break top.

Ya that is too hot of a round for the second model and even a little iffy for the third model
