Id still say a Medusa... Its basically a S&W that shoots a crap load of calibers.. Why argue over 9mm, .38/.357 when you can shoot them all?

I am working on it Trip... Im just going to get the S&W parts and hope for the best

I've never shot one of those, or even heard much about them. Aren't they out of production?

Anyway, would like to check one out. Not saying they'd ever be a favorite, but sounds like a good WHTF reserve weapon.

If I could get one I would. Besides the ultimate versatility of it, they're just sharp looking as hell. No cylinder flutes and a slab barrel on the ones I've seen.

The last I saw one they were going for 800-1K, but they're steadily rising. By the time I save up enough after buying a wedding present and my M1A, it'll be untouchable or scarce as hen's teeth (they're going that way already).

A Ruger Revolver. Not only are they useful as a handgun, but can double as a boat anchor or hammer!

I really enjoy my p229 as well. Great overall pistol. For me it's too big for CCW but I can see it in that roll. It is quite natural to aim, super reliable and a breeze to maintain.
SIGs in general are very good firearms.

I kind of get what the guy is saying.
But I own 4 handguns, 3 of which are 1911s and one of which was a gift :-P
The cost of up keep? Must be referring to the customizability because other than spring's it needs nothing more. For " upkeep"
