My wife picked one of these up for me at her sewing machine supply for about $4. I think it's a about a 2 ounce bottle, with a 4 inch applicator tube. The twist off lid made filling it up with Mobil 1 a cinch.
I work at a local airport and are friends with a handful of aircraft mechanics.. I can get my hands on so top of the line expensive turbine engine oil for free.
Would this be better to use? From my knowledge is that this oil is much thinner when it's cold but doesn't break down as much at higher temps. Also it has a 450 degree higher flashpoint then most oils, and resists carbon buildup and residues much better too.
Get yourself one of these, fill 'er up and oil away. One other trick is to mix the Mobil 1 with Marvel Mystery Oil at a 10:1 ratio.
that is a realy cool device!! i just ordered one!!
