Hi, I had a problem with front sight loosening and have corrected it as told to by Ruger support team, now I need to know how to adjust rear sights. It may look simple, but being a novice I feel I need to ask for a class 101 on how to adjust my Mark III hunter rear sight, thanks

If yours is like mine there are 2 screws which allow you to raise/lower the sight and move it left/right. Before you do anything, you want to shoot the gun off a rest to see where it hits at the range you wanted it sighted in at. Once you determine if any adjustments are needed - raise the rear sight to make the gun shoot higher, move the sight laterally in the direction you want it to hit. For example, if you're hitting low and right, raise the sight and move it right.
Make the adjustments in small increments and test fire to see what you've done. This is mine and it shot dead on from the factory at 15 yards...
Hi, NGIB, thanks for the help, have made adjustments, which I think will do the job, it seems to be on center, now only to stay still while firing, eh?
I got the best groups once it was adjusted, I was able to hit a 3 to 4" Piece of skeet on the bank at about 100 yards, WOW! now that was fun. I am a novice and improving as well as enjoying shooting.
