I'm not interested in any large frame high caliber pistols like the 44 mag or that revolver. I want something that has the punch of the .40S&W but is small and light enough to carry around and easily get the gun on target and put rounds on target without any real stiff recoil.

Then definitely look into the Baby Desert Eagle ll'S in polymer and steel. They are light enough but well made.

That is a very nice looking gun. How is the balance?

Sorry i was just joking.Open or concealed,time to target would be my concern.My choice still would be 38 with rem.110gr.sjhp or 45acp doubletap 185gr.nosler jhp.Although ballistic tests 8/29/12 amer.rifle.by richard mann.had the 40 with win180pdxi leading with11"pen.2.08expan.988fps the 38 was close 1.71ex.10.5pen. 895fps. and the 45 at 1.86ex. 10"pen.1144fps. Carrying a 15 oz.38 or a 45 at 31oz the baby eagles 41oz. has to be a factor.

After watching some reviews on youtube my mind is made up. I was contemplating the MR Eagle but with its lack of a manual safety I will be going with the Baby Eagle.
