Yes. I have a Rugar 10/22 Takedown rifle and I have a Rugar 22/45 Target pistol and that pistol fits in the outside top pocket of the rifle's carry bag.

I have put almost 1,000 rounds through my takedown. I take 4 25rd mags with me when I plink. The only cycling issues experienced were due to ammo. Stick with the faster velocity ammo & there will be no problems. It's still a 10/22 & functions as well as all the others.

If I had a Ruger 10/22 takedown, I would get a 22/45 lite to go with it.

What kind of 25rd magazines are you using in your Takedown?

I have a 10/22 td and my buckmark and my mark III won't fit in the bag. A sr-22 will fit in the bag though.
