We have a lot of 40 S&W lover's here so don't get us pist off or we may lead the Chase!
He didnt seem to be saying something bad about 40 other than at the very beginning, after that he was just stating the fact that 9 mm is more widely used

you dont know much about how military's around the world choose there weapons do you,,,

no military uses the best of the best in terms of caliber in any weapon,,, most really are under powered to be honest

look at the usa's infantryman rifles for a quick example 30/30, upgraded to 30.06, got wimpy with .308, got really pathetic with 5.56

or police going from 44mag to 357mag all the way down to the wimpy 9mm (in comparison)

your comparing weapons meant to wound we are looking at killing power,, but like stated some where else, all pistol rounds are barley up for the task

Bottom line is: Any gun is better than no gun in a gun fight with COM Shot placement.

Just keep in mind when you're vacationing in North Korea you may have a hard time finding ammo. LOL

The only reason I would prefer a 40 S&W over a 45 ACP is that the Sig p239 doesn't come in a 45 ACP.

no idea what its like,,, but i had a Kahr PM40 and it was small,, 5 shot single stack mag

that hurt my hand like shooting a very light snub .357mag,,, and was very uncomfortable

honestly when looking at a small low cap hand gun i would go with a wheel gun, if your only going to have 6-8 shots may as well pack a punch

personally my next carry pistol will be a .44mag snub to carry as a back up to my HK P-30
