I recently picked up a ruger sr22p in a trade and it has been great. Especially for teaching the kids and girlfriend, its also a ton of cheap fun

I have a Browning Buckmark, Ruger Mark III 22/45 target and a Ruger Single Ten.

All are nice .22 handguns and all shoot quite well.

However, in my opinion the Ruger Single Ten is the best.

Have you made any changes to yours yet. I put a Colt flat mainspring housing in mine, got rid of the mag safety and improved the trigger pull and reliability with bulk ammo.

For a semi-auto, a Umarex 1911 .22lr. It's accurate, lightweight, easy to clean, and has a 12 round capacity.
For a DA revolver, you can't beat the accuracy and durability of a S&W 617.
For a SA revolver, the Ruger Single Six or Single 10 is the top dog.

I bought a sig mosquito and love it. 250 rounds through it with no issues.

I was going to recommend the Ruger MK III, but I have to admit, that S&W is one sweet looking revolver!

My favorite, and least expensive revolver is my Heritage Arms .22. Dead on fun for $139!
