Default Lookin for .22 pistol

Anyone have any suggestions for a .22 pistol? i want it mainly for plinking at the range and to fine tune my marksmanship with a pistol so i can see what im doing wrong. plus its always good to have a gun that shoots super cheap ammo. i want a good mag capacity, reliable, and accurate.

You should check out windsofchange's report on her .22 pistola. http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f66/range-report-mark-ii-gp100-45198/

And she just got a scope for it.

welll. the best way to do this is go to a dealer and hold all the .22 pistols. there are so many to choose from.. the best one to get is one that fits you good. but some options are.. browning buckmark, ruger mark II or III, walther p22 and many, many more. from semi autos to revolvers. just hold a bunch and find one you like

i just checked out the ruger site and looked at the mk IIIs. they have some with a 1911 grip on them, figured that might help since i plan on eventually getting a 1911.

The Ruger would be a good choice for you! Also the Browning Buck Mark is a good pistol.

Going to get a 1911?

Why not get it in .22lr first?
