List Your lube !

I know there are tons of different types of lubricants out there.
Some like traditional oils, some grease, some CLP's and others Hi Tech Lube
like Mil-Pro 25. Then there are those who use regular 3 in 1 or WD-40 and such.
Anyone for Olive Oil ? Just Kidding ! What do some of you folks use, im just curious ? I Like Break-Free CLP or Tri-flow with Teflon . I'll even make a poll that you could vote on at the end but im more interested in specifics.

Been using Mobil 1 synthetic (yup, car oil) on all of my guns for many years. It's cheap and effective...

I'd imagine that to be pretty good .
Bar and Chain oil would be good for the slide, but kind of heavy for small moving parts ? Heck the rebels over in the Mid East dip a patch in motor oil and shove it down the barrels of there AK-47's to clean it ! I guess pretty much any oil will clean, lube, and protect. Most of the gun specific stuff is supposed to not gum up which is why most use it.

mobil 1 and wilson combat molly grease.

I use Mobil 1 grease on the M1A and Ed Brown gun oil on everything else until I run out of it and then I'll switch to something else.

Amsoil synthetic (use in all my bikes and vehicles as well) same as Mobile 1, but better! (check the wear tests) ;) Wilson molly grease, and Fluid Film at the present time.

Mobil 1 vs. Amsoil

I love Mobil 1 for my car but never really considered it for my guns. Is there a specific viscosity that is best?

Outers, Rem Oil, and sometimes a mix of Marvel's Mystery Oil, WD-40, and tranny fluid.

I started with Remington, Hoppes and CLP but went to Mobil 1 spiked with Tufoil ***(Tufoil is a super-suspension of micro-miniature PTFE particles and soluble Molybdenum, permanently suspended in oil.)

Works great so far and yes super cheap too!

I just use Rem Oil or Hoppes and have just starting using Fluid Film. I have only owned a gun for a couple months now so I have very little experience.
