Haha, all this talk of naming your weapons is bringing back memories of my days in the Marines; "this is my Riffle. There are many like it but this one is mine........"

I couldn't name my weapons even if I wanted to. My wife would get too jealous of the names and read hidden meanings behind them. I had a motorcycle named Christina (who was my ex fiancÚ at the time of meeting my now wife, but she [Christina] was my fiancÚ at the time of getting my motorcycle). Well my wife used to hate that motorcycle. Not because of any danger factor, but solely on the fact that the motorcycles name was Christina. I really miss that motorcycle 😥

On a side note:
I've heard many times before that it is not good to name your weapons (or at least voice those names). It's because, should you ever need to use them for self defense against another person or some endangered animal (in some crazy states) then the state can bring you up on charges (right or wrong) and if the prosecution finds out that you named your weapons then they will paint you as some crazy gun nut like what is portrayed in anti-gun Hollywood movies. Think Zimmerman and how that verdict may have gone had he named his gun.

Just a thought

I have a Ruger M77 .270 I call Mashed Taters & Gravy. For some reason when I take my .270 to the woods in the fall I have to make some mashed taters & gravy to go with the fresh backstraps.

Nice collection.

I hope you aren't concerned about government registration of your firearms, because you just made a permanent, indelible record of your ownership for anyone who ever cares to look.

Remember that every keystroke you ever make on-line and every photo you post can be stored, cataloged and will be retrievable with no expiration date.

Yea, I know, they were all lost in a boating accident. I would hate to sell that story to a judge and jury.

i guess you are thinking of a nationwide registration and confiscation is going to happen and they will use the internet to help them round up all the guns LAC's have in their possession?

i am sure they are going to sift through billions and billions, if not trillions of bits of info just to track down people? yeah they have a hard enough time getting the real bad guys even with all the agencies and information they have now.

Yes, I see. I think "chase" would have been better for a car.

Ha. I see what you did there. However, my vehicles are usually females. Not sure why. Just how it works out.
