Hey thanks doc I will take you up on that. I waited on hold for 3 hours with kel tek yesterday. The wife is going to call them Monday. If she doesn't get anywhere then I will just order a new slide from them off line.

Fa35, thanks for your info to. I have went through and made sure there wasn't any burrs on it that will tear my hands up or my wife's. I have also went around and stoned off any burrs on any of the metal. I can see on the old slide that either some used it as a range gun or it's an engineering flaw that the barrels smacks the slide when fired. I plan on taking the barrel and new slide to the my work and fixing that problem so it doesn't happen again. One of the reasons I picked this gun to experiment with is because the parts are so cheap and there is not much to the gun.
