Default Just picked up a new handgun

I just got a Sig P239. I am quite excited and heading to the range tomorrow.

Thanks Mark. Does anyone know how to tell when a Sig was made? I purchased this one used and would like to know when it was made. I did a few Google searches and was not able to find anything.

Thanks

Try this, it's a SIG P239 Serial Number database: http://ssnmbn.ibelgique.com/837.html

You may be able to get a date from it...

I downloaded t, but it was just bumps and squiggles. It might not be Mac compatible.

I guess your best option is to call SIG USA and see if they can trace your serial number, I BET THEY CAN!

Thanks again Mark, and sorry for all the mud slinging on my other post. I hope there are no hard feelings.

SIG can tell you if you call them, or e-mail them. That's what I did for my P220.

You picked a great pistol. Mine is a 9mm and carries light and small, is more accurate than a small pistol has a right to be, and stone-cold reliable. It's loaded with Remington 124 grain Golden Sabers. Mine wears green front and rear night sights. I carry mine IWB. Let us know how it shoots.

best wishes- oldandslow
