So you blame me for the craftsmanship, reliability, functionality, safety, and overall quality of this gun--because I bought it, sold it, and my friend shoots it occasionally, and hasn't had any issues with it?
I bought a J22 new in '92...and it jammed every single time i shot it regardless of ammo type..I was able to clean the inside of the slide up with a fine hone stone so it would at least operate as a semi-auto and not a single shot. Then it would only cycle with CCI Stinger ammo. You'd be better off buying a Wrist Rocket Slingshot and a Blow-Gun, as far as I'm concerned the only strong point of the Jennings guns is Unreliability. Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.
I inherited a Jennings nine when my father died. Looks to be never fired. After reading about the reliability I am now concerned. If it was a decent weapon I did not want any longer I would just sell it but how would one responsibly dispose of this?
