it's all in fun CapnJack! clips and magazines are sometimes used interchangeabily by many not well versed in gun terms. but they are different.

a clip would be like a stripper clip used to feed shells into a magazine or firearm.

a magazine holds shells and usually fits into the firearm.

I had a c9 and it jammed and jammed some more.I cleaned and oiled it and tried different brands of ammo but it still jammed. I was so pissed that i let it sit in my gun locker for a year then sold it for $75. I know they have a lifetime warranty and I could'a sent it back but I just didn't want anything to do with it anymore.
I'm glad everyone else's works great but mine didn't. I don't consider myself a gun snob. I have a NORINCO 9mm that's heavy, ugly, and cheap that I bought used about a decade ago that is a joy to shoot.
Ok, I'm standing by to get slammed. Go fer it.

The most probable cause of the jams is the magazine. There are several youtube vids out there instructing one how to tweak the lips of the magazine.

Their pistols leave something to be desired, but the carbines are pretty incredible firearms!
