I own one in 45 and its big, bulky, ugly, but it was inexpensive, its reliable, and goes bang everytime you pull the trigger, made in USA, and full transferable no questions asked warranty, if I have to use a gun for self defense and it goes to police for evidence I'd rather loose the hi point vs a heirloom family hand me down gun.

I know, right? It goes bang every time and there is zero recoil. The 3-9x42 Mil Dot works great and it's just a lot if fun. Best gun for a beginner, ever. Lifetime warranty.

i had a used C9 & loved it, i really liked the ghost ring sight over the typical notch sights, for some reason it just worked well for me. the previous owner apparently swabbed the barrel fairly regularly but never bothered anywhere else. once i cleaned the thousands of rounds of gunk out of the workings, it ran flawless.
it was far from the most refined gun i've fired but it was ridicuously cheap, it worked, & shot straight. which is all that really matters.

I had a hi point c9 but sold it due to the fact I could not pull the damn thing out without hearing what the hell is that or that looks like a toy I swear every time I had to hear something about it even at the lgs/range good gun though good comfortable shooter I wish the 40 and 45 looked like the c9 even still thing makes glock look like a work of art but beauty is in the eye of the be hold I don't frown on any one who just want glocks or hi points or whatever

My brother in law is a gun snob, he has a glock 23 and since he owns it, its the greatest fun ever created, I can out shoot him all day long with my hi point .45, and he still gives me flack about it and I tell him, the bg isn't gonna care if they are shot with a hideous, cheap gun, you feel free take go down range .45 acp is gonna hurt whether its from a 200$ hi point or a 1200 1911.

No. I just wanted to do a friendly poke at the OP.
