My daughter is 37, my son is 30. When each one was 3 or 4 I took them out in the back yard and held a .25 auto with them. One bang into the yard and their interest in firearms was finished.

it completely removed the'' forbidden fruit'' curiosity in my household toward firearms by the kids. A gun from that point on was ''I've done that- hohum''...

But if this is your 1st you have SOOOOO many other things to worry about before guns are a concern
