Hahaha, like, no. Respect, absolutely. Why people seem to need the two to coincide, I'm baffled by.

I understand personal preference - I don't like the ergonomics of a Glock and am equally baffled by the fervent devotion of the "Glockonuts." But it is a proven platform and a viable choice for all who need or require a handgun.

My only issue w revolvers is for law enforcement. Many good men lost their lives while trying to reload and were gunned down by BG's w superior firepower.
NY City stayed w 38 revolvers for a very long time after the rest of the nation had already made the change.

I appreciate the look and feel of all quality firearms, the older the better for me. I also have a handguns myself and I shoot them very very well.. Fluidity and accuracy is my Zin........ If it's not accurate or wicked sharp than I have no use for it.

I own a few wheel guns but prefer my 1911's and i REALLY don't like big bore wheel guns. Get a rifle man!

I enjoy the looks of a fine firearm.
That could be a rifle, pistol, black-powder.

IMO, although a certain platform may not be to one's liking, one should still become familiar with the function of that platform.

In otherwords, though Glock is not on my favorites list, I still know how it functions and how to load, shoot, and clean it.

You never know when SHTF.

Agreed, don't think anyone here would disagree with that statement.

I have to wonder? Is the answer longer magazines or longer range sessions?

Anyone who cannot appreciate and respect the revolver is not really a gun person. I'm not saying you have to prefer them, just that they need to looked with a certain, and well deserved amount respect. They are huge part of firearms history. I own both and I enjoy them both.
