The one remaining thing I look forward too is my holster from Brandon. I can't wait any longer!! It's gonna rock.

I put out the word I had some money burning a hole in my pocket and nothing came of it. I banked the cash instead.

It happens. Just wait, sooner or later you will see some gun that is so cool, that you'll have to have it.

Take a hiatus from it, I sometimes do.

I'll not look at my stuff for a few months then I come back with a vengeance!

I take that time to enjoy other hobbies and when I return I appreciate the things I have even more.

Yea, I know what ya mean about losing interest in guns. I had a female shooting partner who started complaining about getting her boots too dirty, it's too cold, it's too hot, it kicks too hard, and it takes all day. I finally said forget it and put the guns in the gun room and closed the door. I kept that door closed until I could not stand it any more. I regenerated interest by mixing up my target selection. Rather than shooting at paper I decided to hang pots and pans. I now shoot alone and shoot in peace.

It's probably a very healthy thing NOT to sit around thinking about guns all the time. It's good to cultivate lots of hobbies and be well-rounded and well-balanced. As long as you don't turn into some liberal, birkenstock-wearing, Volvo-driving, latte sipping, anti, I think you are gonna be o.k.

I take a gun with me everywhere i go so i dont ever go any period of time without touching one. BUT i do get wrapped up in doing other things sometimes and tend not to play with them very much. It is good to take a break from things every once in a while.
