Pistols have the barrel above your hand, this means that when the gun kicks it takes you off target because your hand flinches back in an upward motion. If however a gun were designed with the barrel at the center of the hand kick would drive your hand directly backwards with no change of angle, possibly allowing for more on target rapid fire. Of course a sight would have to be mounted several inches away from the barrel to be seen by the shooter. It could be mounted to the left/right of the barrel, then you would only need to compensate for a couple inches left/right at any distance vs a vertical compensation which would be more dependent on range.

You mean sorta like the gun Soran had in Generations?

Yeah, similar to that. I am not picturing a self adjusting scope but that would be cool too.
One problem with it would be the length, it would have to be long so the slide has room to come back and not punch you in the fingers every shot.

Mine would shoot from 6 rotating barrels have a cap. of at least 20,000 rounds of 500 S&W Mag. No recoil, and would allow me to shoot pepleated Uranium rounds So body armour is of no real concern. I also want a heat round that would explode into hot sticky super napalm upon impact. Hows about crackhead seaker bullets?

I'm pretty sure they make conversions for doing just that.

75% revolver 25% auto.A revolver that has a better way of loading ammo.Maybe an upside down half U shape that loops through kind of like a belt fed magazine, ammo mag kept in the handle like an auto, but without the need for an auto action.Just after the last round, the case would just fall out without being ejected,so it would still need to incorporate at least one cylinder type chamber.I think the idea of 12-20 .357s or .44 mags would make a devastating gun, without the possibility of jams like the few automag autos out there.
