A GP-100 with 4" barrel. built like tanks and in a .357 you can shoot .38. Makes for a versatile gun that your grand children won't be able to wear out. Love mine.

I saw only 2 recommendations for a .22.

IMO, if one does not have a .22lr in their pistol collection, it is not complete.

i have a 22 rifle ... just curious ... what is it about a 22 pistol that you like to make a complete pistol set?

A rifle is stabilized by three points. Shoulder and both hands (normally).
A pistol is stabilized by two or maybe one point.

The lower cost of .22 ammo, with the "difficulty" of shooting a pistol equals hours of enjoyment and practice for larger caliber firearms.
