I believe it's illegal to ship firearms out of the Country. If you have legitimate reasons for doing so, contact U.S. Customs and see what they say.

I believe you need an export license for that. I doubt anyone here would get caught dead violaing Federal Firearms regulations.

First, welcome to the forum- when you get a minute, drop by the intro section and say hello.

Next, exporting a firearm from the US is not illegal- it IS regulated. And there are restrictions of what firearms and ACCESSORIES (like scopes) can be exported, and to where.

While it IS possible to get the permits yourself to export a firearm, it is also possible to remove your own appendix. Both are messy, painful, and not recommended.
