Default I just purchased a brand new EDC pistol.

I don't dare post this on Glocktalk, but anyways, I am no longer carrying the Glock 26. Don't get me wrong, I love Glocks and I still have my G19 but I wanted a change. I am now the proud owner of a Smith & Wesson M&P 40c. I wanted to go with the 40 S&W cartridge, I didn't like the Glock 27 as much for different reasons such as grip and capacity. I know all about grip extensions and I was using them. I have always liked buying American whenever it was wise to do so. So there you go, I can't wait to shoot it and I will report on that once I do.

The MP is a nice gun. I have the 45; 1000's of rounds and never had a fail.

Looking forward to seeing your report.

Sounds to me like you got yourself a wonderful new EDC pistol. Admittedly, I may be biased, the M&P will serve you well and is a step up JMHO. Good Job, we will need a Range Report and Pictures are always good.

I think you made a great purchase. IMO, you've stepped up from the glock but that's just my opinion.

The M&P is an excellent pistol. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Congrats! And yes, definitely a step up from the Glock.

Also, the page title is too long for the tabs on my browser, so it reads "I just purchased a bra..."

That does it, I am getting an M&P. That is nice. I think you made a great choice and a definite step up from the Glock.
