Finished ... .

Also noted the comparison of barrel lengths among the 4 guns.

The 45ACP is 4 1/2 inches.

The carbine is 18 1/2 inches.

The shotgun is 20 inches.

And the scoped hunting rifle is 26 inches.

4 completely different weapons for 4 completely different jobs.

All of them are primarily combat guns. The carbine also has small game applications, the shotgun for birds, and the rifle for big game hunting.

No need like it or not the police have the serial numbers of my firearms. And they are also on my firearms certificate. The police also have a ballistic test of my handguns.

Apple's 'Numbers' spreadsheet app can do just about all the features you'd expect in a spreadsheet and you can add photos to it. Depending on what version iPhone you have it may be a free download (I think it's free with 5C and 5S).

Being in the Army, stationed here at Fort Bliss, TX and living next to an El Paso Police Detective, I have had to modify how I list my guns.

As it was explained to me, by my neighbor, to help keep the "knuckleheads" under control, when a firearm is confinscated by El Paso Police Department during an investigation, its kept in the evidence lock up with your name and case number. It doesn't matter what the investigation is about, they normally take the weapons from the home (mostly domestic though). Once the investigation is complete, the judge has ruled and such, you MUST PROVE OWNERSHIP on the gun that was confiscated to get it back.

So, I have an excel spreadsheet and I register all mine on post at Fort Bliss. Thus, I can prove owner ship.
