Default How do you clean your Holsters????????????

In 11 years i have never cleaned my holsters i just thought recently i have leather and nylon Holsters. How do you guys clean yours of powder residue, dirt and such what chemical and such do you use to clean them leather and nylon in particular? Leather is very easy to damage so recommended products also nylon could probably get damaged as well.

I never realized until the other day when i was cleaning my gun padded cases and safes and i my holsters from when i have reholstered my dirty guns they seem to collect powder residue and dirt like flys on ****.

I know you guys probably have some really expensive holsters so i know you got a special way hopefully.

The best thing to clean a nylon holster is just a damp cloth.. No chemicals

Kydex holsters (which I don't really LIKE, but recognize their value in some instances) = DISHWASHER

Good old leather and horsehide = Quality saddle soap and conditioner

Indeed. Same care as the saddle and bridals.

Yep...my 35+ year old MacPherson still looks pretty good. I used it working Pap's ranch through most of my life.
