Hickock45 shooting 22 shorts long range

Well... long range for a 22 short. Anyone who is aware of Hickock45, knows about the gong. Check him out shooting the gong with a 22 short. You can almost count the seconds between pulling the trigger and hearing the bullet hit.

Yeah, I saw that a couple of days ago. Very impressive.

Try a box of CCI CB Longs. First shot you may wonder if the gun actually fired. I have a couple of Remington 550-1s that cycle them semi auto.

I've been wanting to try some of those.

I love those Ruger revolvers, any caliber.

Dry-firing a .22 rimfire. Remind me never to lend this yahoo one of my guns to play with. OK, he always has fun. Well, you can always tell a teacher, but you can't tell them much...

Here's the sp101 .22 manual PDF from my google docs, download and Ctrl+f "dry" and read the section that says you can dry fire this firearm without harming it.

Don't be a troll.

HockaLouis 10-09-2012 01:02 AM

Not being a "troll" by any means. I myself never heard of a .22 rimfire that wasn't going to have the hammer hit around whatever the "chamber" would be and damage something like the face of the breach and/or the firing pin and/or the hammer...
