Jordan, I'd like to see how your range report/mini torture test goes. Just don't go as far as these guys.
Yeah, I don't plan on taking it that far. LOL. I think I might try to do it on video if I can get ahold of a decent camera.

I got the carbine because it was ugly and kinda strange looking. It shoots good too. I haven't found a kind of ammo it won't shoot good.

I don't know that it's the whole reason for it's looks, but that large, heavy slide is necessary for handling the recoil of the 'blow back' design of the Hi-Point. Haven't shot one, but handled a .45 in a local pawn shop & it's like holding onto a brick with a handle.

It's like an ugly girlfriend. You don't take it out and flaunt it around to all of your friends, but it's still so nice to use. Haha.
