most likely home defense maybe car defense. price range jus jumped up to 350. need extra for ammo and maybe another clip. i have kinda little hands and in just my opinion love the way the sigma feels and love the black with silver slide.

Thats like comparing a Yugo to a Ford Crown Vic. Both will get you where you are going but you would much prefer the Ford and the resale value of the Smith wil be much higher.

Here is just a glimpse at "The Worlds Greatest Sigma™". Not to much, you might not be able to handle it all at once.

I can brag that I shot the world's greatest Sigma, and suprisingly was able to hit with it pretty good.

Go here as there are always lots of Sigma's listed (this is a GA gun trading forum). I would also edit/delete your last post.....

The new Sigmas still have the rebate I believe.
$50 dollars or 2 mags.
I took the 2 mags, but it was about 6 weeks before I got them.
I have the SW9VE, and have no problems hitting what I'm shooting at.
It's tough and well made, after all, it is a Smith.
I had a C9 Hi Point, and for the life of me, I couldn't complain about anything besides disassembling for cleaning. As already stated, it's not as handy as most others.
I traded my C9 and JCP (.40 S&W)for a Glock 32.
I bought the JCP back and traded it for a Super Comanche (.410/.45LC)
I don't miss the JCP, it looked like a cordless drill, but I think I'm gonna get another C9 for a good beat around gun.

It is scary that this question even has to be asked.

Get the Smith AND the Hi Point. when the Smith runs dry, use the Hi Point to beat the crap out of the guy. Another use is a good roofing nail hammer. Yet another good use for a Hi Point is a boat anchor. another one is a door stop..... need I say more?

270.00 looks low for the smith but 200 for the hi point is ROBERY!!!!!!!!
If the smith is in good shape, BUY IT!

And NO i did not read the entire post, just the first page and felt compelled to say something.
