Might as well chime in too... I've had my C9 to the range only 2 times since I bought it just before Xmas for $160 from GB.com. $20 shipping and $25 FFL transfer made it $205, and I didn't even get a box of ammo with it! LOL

Both times it shot great, the second time was my CHL class qualification. Yeah, it's not a beauty-kinda' ugly actually. Someone described it like "a brick with a handle", but I don't think it's that bad. I did pass the CHL qual. LOL

A while back at the local city range, the stall next to was firing a Hi-point 9mm model, with 10 round mag. They had a blast shooting at 25 yards and 50 yards.

No FTE or FTF's the entire time.

I would normally agree about not buying highpoints but i have owned a 9 and a 380 hipoint and both were good cheap workhorses

Stay away from Hi Point except for the 9mm Carbine, which is is just plain fun to shoot. Other than that you'd be lucky to hit the broad side of a barn with a Hi Point pistol, plus they are poorly constructed.

Save your $$ and buy a pistol of better quality. Like the guy above said "Friends don't let friends buy Hi Points"

Just my opinion but your gun should be good looking and those things are not.i would put that 200 towards something better.
