Even if your high point breaks the service Is awesome u mail them ur gun and they will send u a new one 4 free no questions asked as long as it just broke u didn't try 2 break it...

Try a Bersa 9mm or .45
A really nice gun is a Stoeger Cougar .45 for around $400
The Ruger SR40c or full size SR40
Ruger P95
Smith & Wesson M&P
Walther PPQ

Lots of nice guns just check them out.
