Default Help Glock 17

Can anyone tell me what Generation this glock 17 is. I'm going to purchase it tomorrow at a shop in northern California. My buddy said the serrated side is wrong. He thinks it's a prototype.

Thanks

It does appear to be a prototype. Looks like the next generation beyond
the guns that the airport x-ray machine can't see. It looks like a truly
transparent Glock. Maybe some strange "bend the space time continuum"
technology? Perhaps Gaston Glock made a deal with the Klingons?

This post IS a JOKE--right? Or do you seriously expect someone to tell
you the generation of your G17 with no picture, serial number or description?

It probably would help if you stopped by the introductions area.

Didn't you ever see Die Hard 2?! It's a Glock 7!!

But in all seriousness, Then only major difference in serrations on the slide is in the 4th gen Glocks. The slide serrations will be curved in the center of the line pointing towards the muzzle of the gun. Just google "gen 4 glock 17" and see if thats a similar look

They all blow up just the same, though.

That's how many buy Glocks, sight unseen and little understanding of firearms.

Excuse the fun at your expense, best to stop by the intro thread and let us know more about you. Then if possible a more descriptive expression of the pistol in question, heck a picture would express 1,000 words.

Then again if your going to buy it tomorrow....page up to my first statement.

Yup. They went back to the vertical cuts on the Gen 4.
No offense intended by my previous post about the Klingon Glock--
