True, I was one of that crowd. Get my Model 29 in '78 when the franchise was going strong.

When I was younger I always said my first pistol would be the Colt Double Eagle .45 that ice cube carried in Boyz n the Hood. I have yet to get one but I'm going to make that my next purchase.

I thought that sounded familiar. I don't think there's many on the market. Good luck man.

I've always wanted a Mauser C/96 after I watching Joe Kidd.

I grew up watching alot of westerns so I just had to start out with a lever gun (win 9422), then a 94 .30-30 to hunt bigger stuff with. Single action revolvers and SxS shotguns followed soon. I still dont have a horse.
Carlos Hathcock made me want scoped bolt guns (no mod 70 .30-06 here tho).
Im still waiting on a Sharps, Quigly is to blame.
Bruce Willis in Last Man Standing prompted a few 1911s (mine just dont have the capacity that his seemed to).
