its states on the S.L.E.D. web page the size of the sign and distance in from door and from ground that the no concealed weapons sign must be.

I personally would not carry into any shop even if the sign isnt to specs. I dont want to be the test case if something were to happen
Yes, it is simply amazing! Especially since SLED is confused about the
future requirements on their own CWP applicants! Don't believe me?
Do your own web search.

Edit: Google may not want to talk about anything to do with firearms!

That doesn't seem to be the case yet.

About 4 years ago, I traveled up I-85 from Atlanta to Charlotte NC. Four times a month and the only trouble I had was the rest area's at the GA- SC line, I think it was Pendelton . One night about 2200, I stopped at the southbound rest area and some perverts were hanging around and one longhaired dude tried to peep under my stall, so I left the dude with a few missing teeth and a busted up face and mouth. The funny part to this is...about 4 days later I was headed back to Charlotte and stopped at the north bound rest area about 1600 and there with his buddies sitting outside was a longhaired dude with a few missing teeth and a busted lip...I laughed all the way to Charlotte. I think these rest area were hangouts for those perverts. This was about 4 years ago but the wife and I went to the Fall for Greenville last year and really enjoyed it. The only time we carried was at the rest area's.

So true, I'm sure the results would not be good.

SC does not recognize GA permits because GA does not require a class to be taken in order to get their permits. SC law stipulates that it only recognizes permits from states that have equal or higher requirements to qualify for their permits. Whether that is reasonable or not, it is the law. Also, in general, SC state laws are pretty reasonable, but they are abusively enforced - i.e., no such thing as a "warning". They'll throw the book at you.

South Carolina should make an exception for the rest area's.

Yeah, sometime hookers and pervs hang out at the rest areas. The cops really make a serious effort to keep 'em outta there, but SC is kinda po', and the police are spread pretty thin.
