They acknowledge my KY CCDW permit, wondering if carrying into a restaurant is ok. It is in ky, I will call.

Don't know about S.C. But overall, most people freak out when they see a sidearm on someone other than a LEO.
I am a former cop, and I never wear open carry now as a civilian. It just causes too many problems, plus it takes away any element of surprise. Just my opinion.

Being from Georgia, it is impossible for me to carry legally in South
Carolina. We have beaches in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi,
Lousiana and Texas. What's so special about South Carolina? Oh,
yeah, I forgot North Carolina, a wonderful state. They have the Outer
Banks! If you've never been to the Outer Banks of NC, you have
really missed a great experience!

Being from SC and a firearms instructor it is not legal to carry in any restaurant that serves alcohol for on premises consumption. However they are trying to pass a bill that changes this for restaurants. And no from wat ive heard the Georgia permit is not recognized due to the fact that there is an 8 hour mandatory class you must take here and you can get the permit with ease in Ga. Correct me if im wrong thanks

What can you learn in 8 hours that you didn't learn in elementary school?
Are you kidding me or anyone else with this crap? Just because you are
not capable of just looking at a firearm and seeing the obvious aspects
of how it operates, does not mean that everyone else is a total idiot.

The truth is that you greedy people want to make a profit from anything
that comes along! I can get a Florida license if I take the same course as
required of a Florida resident, yet SC will not recognize a Florida license
of a non-Florida resident. Does that make any sense to the sensible?

We don't mind SC making money. Just make it possible for Georgia
citizens to be accepted as your allies and not your enemies!

Edit: You said: (paraphrasing) From what I've heard, Georgia licenses are
not recognized ....... Don't you know the facts? You are an instructor by
your own admission or claim or whatever! How do you teach without
knowing the factual aspects of the law?!?

Listen i was not downing Ga by no means and i never said one thing disrepectful to you.

And heard that was the reasoning behind it... i know for a fact that SC DOES NOT RECOGNIZE GA. BUT GA DOES NOT RECOGNIZE SC CWP EITHER.

SO KEEP YOUR OPINION TO YOUR SELF ..BECAUSE THE NRA AND SLED RECOCGNIZE ME AS AN INTRUCTOR.
